This sculpture was commissioned by Lark Creek for their restaurant in Westfield Center, 835 Market, San Francisco. For this steakhouse I wanted to do something reminiscent of a grassland (the steel forgings) with steer heads (the glass). It also has a nautical interpretation, evoking ships at sea. The architect was Mark Stevens, Architecture and Light, and the art consultant was Suzy Locke.
